TEAM HENSHIN @ COSPLAY MANIA 2014

I am doing some recap before the year ends...

here's another recap of my 2014 experience...

Last Cosplay Mania 2013 my group won 1st runner up for the group cosplay competition...

 (we cosplayed Sailor Moon S btw)

since that day on, we decided to give our best to get a shot for the Champion award~

we then practiced and conducted group meetings every weekend from September-October 

~and I am glad that everything went well...

we did great on stage (according to the community)

even though we didn't won the champion award we still won 1st runner up (again)

and it was still worth celebrating~

actually, the smiles and cheers of the audience were more than enough for me..

I would like to thank all the people who cheered, rooted and supported us

specially to me ever supportive team mates: loki, star, sheryl, mitch, iban, sky, dasku, otep and the rest of TEAM HNSHIN~

 we would like tot hank the organizers for giving us a chance to compete again this year~

It was actually a dream come true for all of us since we grew up watching the series...

i can still remember collecting sailor moon merchandises,playing with sailor moon dolls,

wearing sailor moon clothes, etc.

I've been a sailor moon fan since I was a kid 

and I tend to root for usagi and mamoru during that time~

the series taught me to fight for what is right (or so i thought) :P

I remember imitating their moves and trasformations and even their spiels LOL

NIKKI in FOLK DANCE COMPETITION (AREUANA)

It has been a while since I posted something (told a story)

and as for a recap of my 2014...

I joined the folkdance competition for teachers here in my division...

There we're fresh faces~teachers whom I am not familiar with...

though I was glad  to meet them since they're all very kind and friendly!

It was indeed an experience worth remembering~

I would like to thank our principals for supporting us and specially our trainer for

teaching us and motivating us to do our best...

~but despite the fact that we did our best...

...it was still unfortunate because we didn't won :[

it was very heartbreaking and frustrating on our part 

specially for me and my partner since this is the second time that we're defeated...

I always told myself that it's NOT all about winning~

but some times, you just can't help but feel miserable after giving your best and not getting any...

I want to win!

I don't want to lose!

Let's do better next year!!!

Nikki for an online job?

Since I want to utilize my free time, I tried applying for a job online...and here I am ... I landed on rarejob.com.ph

I passed the test, scheduled myself for a demo lesson, assessment and interview, (luckily i passed it as well), uploaded my info and updated my tutor profile, took and passed another test, applied for a payroll account at some bank,and I'm all set to teach tomorrow!

That was sure fast and easy :)

The only problem is that, since I think the ratio of tutor to tutee is 3:1 there is a big chance that i won't be able to book as many slots even though I wanted to.

I already opened some slots for me to teach but yeah I'm still waiting in vain here, Iand it won't be pleasing if this would continue. I am actually thinking of finding a new online job (any legal online job that I am capable of).

But I will still give it a try to get a hang of it, hopefully I'll have my first couple of students by tomorrow (crosses fingers).

It has been ages since my last post

it only proves how busy I am with my life today

but I still, wish to tell stories...

thus, I'll be updating soon ;3

NIKKI in CHEER DANCE COMPETITION

~memories will always stay...

the best memory of my teaching career so far~

was being able to join the cheering competition 

for DepEd teachers here in my city :3

the expectation, the tension, the butterflies, the crowd, 

the stares, the smiles, the everything during that very moment

i can still feel everything

and winning was actually a lovely feeling <3

~well, my partner and I were the last recruits

(actually they just recruited us so that they wont be disqualified...

...'coz they still need 2 members~LOL)

actually, the practice was a disaster, there's no one there to teach us~

we're teachers, we're not cheer dancers LOL!!!

but everything went fine, thanks to UNITY

yes! we wouldn't win if it weren't for our trust for each other...

we practiced for 3 days straight...and finally for the big day~

we did our own makeup btw :3

and i know that i'll be able to make more beautiful memories

with this costume~

the pretty cure franchise as always been a part of my heart

i fell in love from the very first time i saw them transform into magical girls

that i always dream of~

tsubomi/cure actually is like the other side of me...

 and i am more of a cure marine character

though i cannot helpmyself not wantingto cosplay her..

since she's cureblossomafter all.. that pretty face,  lonely, shy,weak yet courageous girl...

yes that's what i love about her!
