NIKKI in CHEER DANCE COMPETITION

~memories will always stay...

the best memory of my teaching career so far~

was being able to join the cheering competition 

for DepEd teachers here in my city :3

the expectation, the tension, the butterflies, the crowd, 

the stares, the smiles, the everything during that very moment

i can still feel everything

and winning was actually a lovely feeling <3

~well, my partner and I were the last recruits

(actually they just recruited us so that they wont be disqualified...

...'coz they still need 2 members~LOL)

actually, the practice was a disaster, there's no one there to teach us~

we're teachers, we're not cheer dancers LOL!!!

but everything went fine, thanks to UNITY

yes! we wouldn't win if it weren't for our trust for each other...

we practiced for 3 days straight...and finally for the big day~

we did our own makeup btw :3

NIKKI as CURE BLOSSOM (year-ender shoot)

goodbye 2013 and hello 2014

this was my best year-ender photo shoot evaaaaaah!!!

this was my last cosplay shoot for the year 2013

and i know that i'll be able to make more beautiful memories

with this costume~

(my shupink lashes were osm and definitely a must for this cosplay)

the pretty cure franchise as always been a part of my heart

i fell in love from the very first time i saw them transform into magical girls

that i always dream of~

tsubomi/cure actually is like the other side of me...

 and i am more of a cure marine character

though i cannot helpmyself not wantingto cosplay her..

since she's cureblossomafter all.. that pretty face,  lonely, shy,weak yet courageous girl...

yes that's what i love about her!

NIKKI in FOLK DANCING ("Sayaw sa Salakot")

I did a lot of crazy things last year :3

and I'm actually glad that I tried those things

and one of which was

*drum rolls*

yep! DANCING 

i joined the central district dance group for the folk dance competition

it was an experience of a lifetime lol (so dramu)

well i remember dancing folk dances during my elementary days

but that was x-years ago~ hello modern era!!!

so yeah~it was really fun, i had a great time practicing with my colleagues

it was also a chance for me to get to know other

teachers from other schools :]

but unfortunately we didn't win...

that was also a heartbreaking experience for me as a first timer

 lesson learned: don't join any folk dancing competitions anymore ~LOL

just kidding, well...if ever i'll be given a chance to join again,
then why not?! i mean #YOLO hahaha
then again, it's not all about winning...

the shoot was held at a college campus thank you very much to shun for accommodating us :]

everyone did well and the aftermath was a picnic style pot-luck-ish meal for everyone!

side note; it would've been better if there were a huge pack of zombies

blood spills and jam packed zombie beating everywhere

yeah! the blood was osm ... it added a lot of drama

surely it was a blast!

but we'll re-shoot this for shoot

this time...more zombies, more blood 

and more HOTD signature fan service LOL

Nikki for Cherry&Bubblegum's Bunny Hoodie

December of last year (2013) before our dear friend Engle leaves the country...  

~we decided to have a souvenir-ish fun shoot for Cherry&Bubblegum

yay!!! such soft! much cute! wow!

I tell you...it's a good and a smart buy for 1,000php

the hoodies are very cute did I already mention that? LOL

it's very fluffy too, it's perfect for cutesy photoshoots or costrips

it's also great for the cold weather for its texture :3

Nikki and Miyumi's Misadventures: Audition for Goseiger Stunt Actors

I am actually sad that we aren't chosen to be the stunt actors of some sort~LOL

 for the goseigers' meet and greet here in the country

though we still tried and did our best

I just wish that somehow we were tall enough and sexy of course~huehuehue

 Here's a prayer of love from cure heart and diamond to you :3

 well after a very tiring and fun day of dance rehersal with SGR48

i went straight to QC Circle for our Pretty Cure! Doki Doki! shoot

actually I was very tired that day but out of courtesy and forkeeping them waiting...

I still wore my beast smile for them...and I am very sorry for being so late

our day shoot became a night shoot

but all thanks to our very OMS photogs somehow

it was a success:3

~though our cure rosetta didn't make it in costume...

...we'll still reschedule another shoot and I hope we'll be complete by that time <3

my feels:my life

during the start of this year (2013)

me and my cousins won the gangnam style dance contest hur-hur-hur

i also won 2nd place at a cosplay event

kim and my photo won 3rd place in a sylvanian family photo contest

my photo also won 1st place at crunchy roll's monster hunter photo contest

kim and i won best monster and best female respectively last level up live 2013

i got featured in different sites: magnetic rose.net, anibee.tv etc.

i transferred grad school and enrolled for MAED this sem

i'm still a grade 3 teacher together with the osm people of grade 3

then i thought..."hey! i actually got a good head start!"

but conflicts came like pouring rain

it somehow crushed me

~my SIM only placed 3rd at a science fair

despite giving my all and sticking with the criteria and last year's tips during the division meet

~i won't be able to continue attending graduate school 

because we have a CATCH UP PROGRAM every Saturday 

(it's 16 Saturdays btw...14 more to go)

my entry for cosplay snapshot project 4 didn't make it :c

i'am really pissed right now...

i wanted a break...

i wanted to finish my masterals but stupid things happen

i wanted to grab every opportunity that i can but i can't

because of time...

classes were suspended...

~off to an interview

hope it'll be fine :c

My current life as a student

JGH from my saturday class~touch down!!!

well... I don't really have any interest in attending my classes every saturday...

but that was when I was in my former graduate school...

but since I transferred to a new school

I've been doing my very best to attend classes every saturday despite 

I have some scheduled events/activities every saturday...I always find time to attend my classes

because I felt that I needed this, it is fun here, it relieves me from stress,

it gives me laughter and I learn here

----last year...

I was so idealistic that I've enrolled for MAED major in Biological Science in

some osm school in Manila just because I am a BioSci major

...well the tuition fee is really pricy~lol

the professors were really experienced, intellectual, etc. in short~OSMNESS LEVEL of OVER 9,000

everything was osm for me that I couldn't handle it at all

not tomention it was too far away from home

I have to endure a heck of transportation just to be in class

I've given my best and my all for some numbers for some grades that I knew I don't deserve

their standards were really high that I thought was impossible 

but I made it through that sem

came 2nd semester...

I enrolled for 6 units because I will have NAT review classes that I don't want

to clash with my schooling

but somehow...the displacement fee was too costly 

which led me from dropping and asking for my refund~lol

everything made sense...

I was awaken from my own delusions

from my idealistic view...

yep----I should be PRACTICAL!!!

honestly, I only needed units...

I only needed the diploma...

and if I'll be able to graduate from my masterals and be promoted

then maybe that's the time when I could send myself 

to that ideal school that I always dreamed of...

and eventually graduate with the degree MAED major in biological science

but as for now...

I have to be practical~but my current school is not that bad

no`not at all!!!

It is really fun here, no pressure at all

everyone is so friendly~even the professors

everything is the same actually

we have osm professors, facilities, osm classmates

 the only difference is that I'll be earning units while having fun here

I'm glad I'm here :3

come to think of it...I only wasted my time because of being too idealistic

i hate myself then...

...but experience was the best teacher for me lol

DIY Ranka Lee Costume

hello~ I need some sugar and inspiration here...

~for I am about to start on a new cos-project!!!

yay! I am sooo slacking off
~so for the mean time...here's a review on my ranka lee sewing project:

after buying the needed fabrics...
I made the patterns-traced it on the fabric and cut it
(DICLAIMER; I don't have any formal education in sewing)

ribbons for the hand cuffs

 the base of the hand cuffs

 big bow for my hair

 here's the finished product!!!
use velcro/magic tape at the ends to secure each hand cuff
glue a hair clip at the back of the big bow so that it'll be easy to be place on to your wig

for the skirt...

get your emasurement and make a skirt pattern, trace it on to the fabric and then cut it

cut the needed fabrics for your other ribbpns and bows
ribbons and bows everywhere
it's actually really simple  so it's really easy to figure out

break time!!!

 while sewing my ruffles... I haff to get my ice drop fix too XD

 here are your ruffles to be sewn at the end of the skirt to make it more fluffy and frilly

now, sew them altogether...

I used the cream fabric for the base skirt toppped with the orange one

then I added ruffles at the end of the skirt

for the top... I forgot to take some photos so yeah

you just have to figure it out yourself

Idk... I am really a noob when it comes to sewing...

I hope to take a crash course on sewing though~ XD
