if it's cosplay mania ... then expect me to be present :3

i'm not used to going to cosplay cons every week~

i tend to choose among the biggest and worth coming to...

and i must say that cosmania is one of the most anticipated events here in the country

for this year's cosplay mania 2013 my group and i entered for the group cosplay competition

our group's name btw is-----------> Sailor Henshin Warriors *the feels*

obviously it's a Sailor Moon Cosplay group with my girls/gays/boys hihihi

actually, we just joined for fun

but winning is another thing :3

~believe it or not our skit was just finalized minutes before our actual presentation~

we're really busy because some of us are working, others are still  studying...

but somehow we did it...we made it... and it happened :3

what kept me busy these days?

what have I been doing these days?

raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkkkkkeeeeeeeeeeet!!!

the sailor henshin warriors were called for an event c/o the araneta management

there were 9 cosplayers for the said event and we were divided into 3 groups, 3 cosplayers per group

were assigned to 3 different malls: gateway, ali mall and farmers

ollie me and mitch were assigned to give candies to the kiddos at gateway mall

DIY Ranka Lee Costume

hello~ I need some sugar and inspiration here...

~for I am about to start on a new cos-project!!!

yay! I am sooo slacking off
~so for the mean time...here's a review on my ranka lee sewing project:

after buying the needed fabrics...
I made the patterns-traced it on the fabric and cut it
(DICLAIMER; I don't have any formal education in sewing)

ribbons for the hand cuffs

 the base of the hand cuffs

 big bow for my hair

 here's the finished product!!!
use velcro/magic tape at the ends to secure each hand cuff
glue a hair clip at the back of the big bow so that it'll be easy to be place on to your wig

for the skirt...

get your emasurement and make a skirt pattern, trace it on to the fabric and then cut it

cut the needed fabrics for your other ribbpns and bows
ribbons and bows everywhere
it's actually really simple  so it's really easy to figure out

 while sewing my ruffles... I haff to get my ice drop fix too XD

 here are your ruffles to be sewn at the end of the skirt to make it more fluffy and frilly

now, sew them altogether...

I used the cream fabric for the base skirt toppped with the orange one

then I added ruffles at the end of the skirt

for the top... I forgot to take some photos so yeah

you just have to figure it out yourself

Idk... I am really a noob when it comes to sewing...

I hope to take a crash course on sewing though~ XD

I went there with iban :3 and we were on time boo-yeah!

but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with us

that's why we waited for it to stop...

then we proceeded with the shoot proper

t'was fun and all 

but tiring at the same time...

then after the shoot we went to SM North to eat :>

ooooooooooh I feel so sleepy...

time to rest nao

but unfortunately because of the bad weather and other unforeseen circumstances...

I am actually a manga-lover

I can spend the whole day by just reading different kinds of manga

specially romance, shoujo, school life, adventure, comedy, mahou shoujo and even one shots!

sometimes I tend to read action, gender bender and ecchi ~ LOL

anyway... I like how the story started out and how it progressed up to chapter 30 so far...

though maybe because I have already read tons of romance and school life manga

 somehow, I can already predict the outcome of this manga and eventually relate it to Bokura Ga Ita

though~ it's not yet finished
so I can't really tell~ orayt orz
but I amshipping for futabaxkikuchi hahaha just saying meh~

what a pity though because I've already loved this series

I actually like Merle's character despite her being annoying at times 

'coz i also ship for van x hitomi okay XD

The thing here is she's only 13 yrs.old not to mention that she's a cat girl

so the real deal here is that I must achieve here cat-ish and youthful look without over doing the make-up

yes~ I am a no pro with cosmetics but let's see the end product LOL
