Last Friday November 22, 2013 Shu Uemura Celebrated Its Shu x Murakami Party (Trinoma Branch)

~and all thanks to mam Tanya and mam Nadia, I was invited to be at the event

as #shupink~yay! I was lucky enough to experience

the shu pink pallet and shu pink lashes :3 (for the love of PINK)

 There are a lot of fun activities such as makeup workshop, 

fan making, food~yep food XD

 here we stand at the fan making area where you can disign you own shu~inspired fan

there are also candy giveaways shu~style!

Sailor Henshin Warriors at Cosplay Mania 2013

if it's cosplay mania ... then expect me to be present :3

i'm not used to going to cosplay cons every week~

i tend to choose among the biggest and worth coming to...

and i must say that cosmania is one of the most anticipated events here in the country

for this year's cosplay mania 2013 my group and i entered for the group cosplay competition

our group's name btw is-----------> Sailor Henshin Warriors *the feels*

obviously it's a Sailor Moon Cosplay group with my girls/gays/boys hihihi

actually, we just joined for fun

but winning is another thing :3

we're really busy because some of us are working, others are still  studying...

but somehow we did it...we made it... and it happened :3

Cosplay Feature: NIKKI for a COSPLAY DOCUMENTARY by PVT Channel 4

i got a call from PTV Channel 4 last month for another cosplay feature~yay!!!

(cosplaying as a female rune knight from ragnarok...sorry i lost my knee high socks so yeah my legs are bare)

but this time, it's for a documentary about cosplay here in the Philippines

different cosplayers raging from cross dresser, japanese fashion enthusiast, otaku blogger, mecha cosplayer,

cosplayers from a cosplay organization, cosplayer/freelance model and me ( a plain cosplayer LOL ) were invited for the documentary and were interviewed regarding cosplay/cosplaying and the different issues about cosplay/cosplaying here in the country

it is somehow an in depth documentary on how cosplay began here in the country

the how and why did the Filipinos started cosplaying

there were a lot of topics actually, but everything else basically revolves around COSPLAY itself :3

NIKKI as a POLL CLERK

My first ever Brgy. Election Poll Clerk Experience was a SUCCESS!!!

yes...i normally serve as a support staff at a precinct or at the principal's office

but this was different and new for me...

I was actually nervous at first for I don't know what to do

despite the fact that i attended the seminar for the barangay elections...I still feel clueless XD

but my chairman and third member were all kind enough to encourage and guide all through out this experience :3

our call time was 4:30 in the morning...

preparations were made and we even reviewed the sample video~LOL

I thought it was hard, I thought I couldn't handle it...but I did

and it was actually easy...the procedures were easy during the actual voting...

voting was officially closed by 3:00 p.m. we immediately did the preparations for

appreciation of votes and so on...

we finished everything around 6:00 in the evening but waiting for our service to fetch us

to the area where we surrender the ballot box and other documents was a real pain

it took as i think almost 45 minutes while waiting for our service to come

which was... ehem... a dump truck...

yes trak ng basura po~

but despite feeling sorry we just enjoyed the ride and laughed it all off

(here's a photo with my chairman and third member at COMELEC right after we delivered the ER and other stuff)

we finished everything around 8:00 in th evening and I was at my house by 8:10 in the evening

Iwas really glad that I'm with my chairman and my third member they we're really kind and all <3

and I must say that we did well and we arrived home earlier than expected!

REST DAY: SHOUJO MOVIE MARATHON

grabeeeee i'm lov'n my life naooooo  

movie marathon just because it's rest day for me 

and sem break for the kiddos!!!

woo hooo for a day of relaxation and a bunch of live actions here and there!!!

yesssuuu~ my fave shoujo manga with these osm people = LOVE
as expected for a live action movie it's fast paced but i'm fine with that as long as it doesn't deviate from the original plot hihihi lovely <3

and yay for another fave shoujo manga High School Debut in live action woo hoo

junpei is suitable for the role alright but meh

~i love yuki more because ASAOKA and IRIE hahaha c'mon itazura na kiss 

~will read manga nao...i think my faves are already updated so yeah will read nao!!!

today is a rest day and a movie marathon for me :]

a lot of things happened and enough with my feel trip as for my last post here XD

actually, I began to question myself about the things that keep me going...

keep me cosplaying...

the community is very different now as compared before,

many cosplayers come and go

there are different views upon cosplaying and motives behind cosplaying

a hobby? a form of art?  an escape from reality? a career? a stepping stone? competition? work?

I don't know about yours...but whatever it is, let's just make this community work

let's make this hobby fun and just enjoy it like any other hobby there is

Nikki's Friday Night Magic at Neutral Grounds ETON Centris

well... last night was osm~

kim and i went to divi for our cloth shopping

then afterwards.. we went to eton centris walk

we went to neutral grounds eton centris around 11pm

and toour surprise there are still Magic The Gathering players

it was a Friday Night Magic for everyone

though we weren't able to sign up for the FNM

but hopefully next time we could!

i was actually scared at first... 

new environment...new faces...new everything!

but i managed to gather my courage and ask a certain MTG player 

for a game before his turn in the tourney :3

he's cards are of course strong~like the other players

as expected from eton centris players~though he was kind enough

to play with me even though my deck is trashy lol XD

as for the game per-se...
i was actually winning it because of my good hand

i managed to counter his creature spells (good thing for my control deck~he's a mid-range player)

i was also able to cast my sorin LOI into play and placed 4counters on it hihi

i also casted my blood baron and then i played for the emblem :]

i actually got the upper hand on the game

but unfortunately, our game was stopped because it was already his

turn to play for the FNM tourney

owell~ that was one quite hell of an experience nikki :3

hooja! i hope to improve real soon with my skills, game play and deck

it's just that i'm still paying up something that i can't buy

the cards that i need for my blue-black-white deck 

gott'a bear with my poverty as for now
